wild kingdom days!

OK I don't know what is going on. My life has become even stranger than usual.
A few weeks ago going home from work I had two big work horses charging down the road toward me on the loose. They were well trained and when they came toward my car they slowed down and lead me back to their farm so I knocked on the door told the guy. They walked with me to the front door and promptly took off again when a car whent by to fast and to close.

I have a neighbor with baby goats and on several nights I have returned babies to the barn they are so small they fit through the fence. Cute little buggers but I am afraid one will get hit in the road. I see baby fawns and deer daily. Last week I actually say a momma with triplets that still had their spots.
Robin and I saw a eagle sitting in a tree on one of our drives.
Now the good stuff! well depending on how you look at it.

Last Tues. morning taking Mom home from the eye Dr. we had a momma sand hill crane with a baby within three feet of my car door screaming at me in the road. She would not get off the road no matter what I did, I understood when I saw her baby. I had to angle the car to slow down a guy coming way to fast. He would of hit them if I didn't instead he passed on my right side never slowing down. Poor Momma crane was yelling at me something awful who knew they could be so loud. But at least they were safe. I never saw a momma with a baby so close they were beautiful and very very loud.

This week coming from Moms apt. we stopped and watched a coyote running around and playing in a field with no concern about us. He might of been after a rabbit we didn't see but I like to think he was just enjoying a beautiful summer day.

I am sure there are more I am not telling of right now we have raccoons, opossums, fox and bear all the time but this is something unusual. I wonder what am I going to see tonight when I leave work.

Then it happened last night!! I pulled in the driveway not seeing anything around with my windows down. Out of the blue I had a rottweiler boxer mix (Full grown) jump through my car window in one smooth jump landing in my lap and giving me puppy kisses and drooling all over me. Thank God Sheba wasn't with me! I spent the next 1 and 1/2 hours driving with him jumping up on my car every time I slowed down. I went and asked neighbors Robin thought he belonged to but no such luck. Robin held him by the collar I escaped then with Sheba (big mistake) I returned with rolled up windows to drive up and down the power line until the poor dog was exhausted. Going up and down our drive blowing the horn which Robin did not hear. Finally I found a guy who said it belonged to his uncle and he took him. I am just thankful he was friendly and Sheba or Sophie wasn't with me when he landed in the car. You know they would try to protect me and it would of been furry baby wars on my lap. My car is scratched up but no harm other than that. I was on the phone with Robin when it happened. He found it rather normal and didn't seem surprised at all.

What will it be tonight!

Oh if only I had a camera! If anyone talks to my husband a small mention of birthday in a couple of weeks and my adventures it might not be a bad gift idea.

Life is always an adventure you never know what is around the corner.
